50 Best Asides #21 : Salem Is weird
The sound of ‘Witch House’ has to be one of the strangest things to come out of 2010. Salem, while not the wierdest of the bunch might be the wierdest band to get mainstream press last year. The #21 aside is a link to the strangest mixtape I have ever heard “I Buried My Heart Inna Wounded Knee” by you guessed it Salem. It starts out with a slowed down verson of the Crime Mob’s “Knuck if you Buck” which I only can compare to the onset of a heavy trip and is followed by a bunch of other songs in slow motion. If you can make it past the 5 min mark keep it going all the way through. It bends the mind but in a good way. Listen to this loud and lose your sh!t. Its crazy. If you can’t make it all the way though its understandable as well. Its crazy
